La Trinidad, the capital of Benguet and Baguio’s northern neighbour, offers larger lots and lower prices ten to twenty minutes from the city, around Benguet State University and the strawberry farms.

Next door to Baguio

The town centre is about six kilometres from Baguio along the Km 3 to Km 6 stretch of the Halsema Highway. Most residents work or study in Baguio and commute by jeepney in under half an hour.

Where people look

Pico, Betag and Balili sit on the highway; Tomay, Puguis and Longlong climb the western slopes with views over the valley; Bahong is known for its rose gardens; Wangal, Alapang and Ambiong are quieter residential barangays with newer house-and-lot builds.

What the town is known for

The Strawberry Farm, the Benguet vegetable trading post that supplies much of Luzon, and Benguet State University. The valley floor is farmland; homes sit on the surrounding ridges.
