This app was initially created for our own marketing efforts, but it can be used by any company and licensed Real Estate agent. Marketers may be allowed to post, but for Real Estate listings, you must have an associated PRC-licensed agent. Most PRC-licensed agents already work with marketers inside their own company, so this is the primary audience we serve: sellers, their marketers, and the licensed agents who back them.
On laws and regulations
We welcome sellers who have looked up our laws, since we are still bound by rules of commerce nationwide. This is why the platform is nearly invitation-only for sellers in the Real Estate market. Read up on the RESA law.
For car sellers
Using the platform is free. There should be a verification fee, but it is waived for many sellers.
Why not Facebook
The difference with Facebook is we don't allow spam, and we don't allow scams on this platform. As of today, the Philippine government has not fined Facebook for any violation, but many countries file lawsuits against Facebook every year over weak consumer protection and privacy law violations. It will soon be harder to sell, run ads, and target Overseas Filipino Workers on Facebook as fines mount and countries like the U.K. move to ban ads entirely.
Better visibility outside Facebook
It's always good to try platforms outside of Facebook, and the reason is better visibility. Hotels, for instance, draw most of their traffic from tourism-focused websites rather than general-purpose social feeds.
Mobile apps
We have not released any app on the app stores. This is a disadvantage in a mobile-first market like the Philippines, but we will definitely work on licenses locally to make this possible soon.
Local business focus
We plan to do more of web marketing and have a focus on giving our legitimate local businessmen better visibility through content soon.
The Northern Luzon region is a core focus due to the fact the founder lives in Baguio City, but we may look at what will work on a national level soon.
